I LOVE skiing and LOVE Sharks!

Having skied since the age of 5 (with a brief decade moving over to ‘the dark side aka snowboarding’), I was beyond ecstatic when we tried our kids with skiing in 2020 and they fell in love with it.  We joined Sharks in 2021 and it was the best thing we’ve ever done as a family. 

I am always bowled over by the amount of time and dedication that people involved in clubs like Sharks give voluntarily to make a club what it is and provide what it can offer, so I was more than happy to step forward to get involved and help in any way I could to share the load.

Professionally, I have had careers in Operations Management in the logistics industry followed by Project Management in academia, but due to a love of animals, I threw caution to the wind and changed tack in 2014 to set up my own pet care business and haven’t looked back since!

Personally, my free time, other than skiing, is spent focussing on general fitness, especially running - I have completed a marathon and an ultra marathon.  I enjoy spending time with my family and keep myself busy doing other volunteer roles including being on a Scout Group Exec Committee and on a 10k running race committee.  Occasionally, I also sit down and watch TV!
