Sharks Ski Club offers an affordable, professional learning environment for skiers of all abilities every Saturday from 9 am to 11 am at Swadlincote Snowsports Centre. Our sessions cater to everyone, from beginners to skiers, with a minimum age of 6 and no maximum age limit. Participants under 18 must have an adult present. We prioritize affordable for all, following SnowSport England guidelines, and the club is SnowMark Accredited. Enjoy 2 free membership sessions (excluding slope fees) before joining.
How do I join
For inquiries about joining the Club, please Contact Us. You're invited to an "Introductory Session" to determine if skiing in a club suits you and to assess your skiing ability for group placement. Please book these sessions in advance, as we may limit the during busy times. Parents/guardians are asked to stay during the session.
Do You teach Beginners
We welcome everyone aged 6 and up (subject to instructor availability). Beginners will start on nursery slope, guided by our instructor team, and progress to the main slope to join Sharks family and make new friends. Our structured teaching methods are globally recognized, enhanced with our unique Sharks sparkle.
We are a familiy Orientated Ski Club
Join us at Swadlincote Snowsport Centre every Saturday from 9 am to 11 am. Sharks Ski Club welcomes skiers aged 6 and up, offering lessons from beginner to advanced levels. Our instructors will enhance your technique and provide for race or mogul sessions, along with other activities on our website and Facebook page.
How Much does it Cost
A single membership costs £26 per year, with additional family members at £16 each. Snowsport England membership is also required. The membership year is from October 1st to September 30th. Session fees £11.00 for children and £13.50 for adults, plus £2.50 club subs per person per session
Important bit for Parents
The minimum age is 6, but all ages, including adults, are welcome. Parents of children under 10 must stay at the ski slope during the session. If leaving older children uncompanied, provide a contact number for emergencies. Many parents watch and encourage children, and often join in once they get comfortable. We also have a vibrant adult community.
