Flight and Transfer Information Update

SHARKS SKI TRIP TO WENGEN 2019

The easyJet flights from Manchester to Geneva on Saturday 16th February, returning Saturday 23rd February, are now released. BUT – they are extremely expensive – ie £700 return trip per person. Please remember this is national half term week…!!
We have looked at other options, and Manchester to Basel is cheaper – ie Saturday £325, Friday and Sunday are even cheaper. There is only 1 flight on each day.
Consequently, it appears that people are looking at alternative flight and travel, therefore at this stage I am unable to say that we can organise transfers for you. Please remember that the price DID NOT include transfer. We did originally think that if we all arrived at Geneva at the same time, we would organise a coach, but the cost of the coach would have been divided amongst us all.
All I can advise at this moment, is – please let me know when you have booked your flight and to which airport. I can then co-ordinate groups and advise or help arrange pickups for you If there is only a few of you at an airport, then it may well be cheaper for you to catch the train.
The trains run direct from Geneva and Basel airports, to Lauterbrunnen (your destination). If you need any advice on train travel, then please contact me and I will put you in touch with the Halls who are very experienced in travelling by train from both Geneva and Basel.
I am also advised that self-drive is approximately £600 for tunnel and road charges.
Thank you,
Molly, on behalf of the holiday committee.
